love the dreads. love how part of them is really blonde, and the other really dark. i'm not that keen to crocheting either. I don't think I have the hang of it yet, or else my hook is too long. Anyone have any suggestions on a good sized hook? I read on here, someone said between .75 and 1.5 or something. I looked at my local craft store and they don't sell any that small. The smallest is 3.0 and I know that is too large. Anyone know of any good websites that sell them? Mine definitely need some work. Thanks in advance.

1.50 mm or a size 8.........I get mine at jo-ann...they are a couple bucks if that.....thank you thank you!....her hair was bleached and a dread perm....although would be fine if diluted, would limit chemical options in the future.......so, we first did synth for 6 months then had a 3 inch foundation of knotted lock....then we waited and base tied...and waited...then i learned the gentle art of felting dreads( tongue in cheek) and finished those loose ends....she continues to bleach and tone monthly at home....felting or crocheting is just something you feel...practice makes perfect...of something there of
