I am going to be the Maid of Honor for my cousins wedding in June. Does anybody have any tips for a cool up-do dread hairstyle. I have about 80 pinky size dreads that go down to the middle of my back. I am thinking about extensions but just wanted some un-biased opinions....Thanks in advance

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 10:34 AMmy brother is getting married in june. not sure if i can help you with dread hairstyle for the wedding. i am the best man. i think i am just going to wear a red bandana and have them hang down. well that's what my bro suggested since we're all wearing black tux with red inside shirt or something i forget exactly. i was think i should just tie them back, but i dont know. what do you guys think? -

I guess I will have to wait to see how it looks with my tux. that's why i wanted to get a crochet hook so i could make them a little more neater. i've never used one on my locks and i do have a lot of loose hairs that i'd like to tame. who knows. -

Wed, April 23, 2008 - 4:56 AMI am also getting married in May and have only just begun to think about what to do with my hair, getting a little nervous here. Someone suggested a reverse french braid. I can braid, but frech braiding eludes me.
Anyone wanna come over my house and do my hair for me?! lol.
