    emily, so is the dark or light the dye? i tried box stuff tonight, which was quite a bit lighter than my hair, but got almost nothing out of it! my roots are now an orangey, the thick parts of my dreads are about the same auburn color that my hair was before it got all dense, and my tips.. i guess they're kind of light. what do i do to get some blond locks!?!

      There's a lot going on there.... the kind of medium-brown is my natural hair color, the really dark/black is black hair dye, and there are some darker reddish ones that were from red hair dye... the blonde ones are bleached. Just be careful if you're going to bleach, rinse it out really really well! I've bleached them several times over the course of a year or so... I would recommend waiting a while in between bleaching, don't try to get white blond all at once! =)
