dry your locks faster

In response to the weight of wet locks...

I use a microfiber travel towel to wrap up my just past shoulder-length locks after washing or swimming. It sucks up so much water in 15-30 minutes, that what used to be an all-day air drying process is shortened to maybe 2-3 hours or so. I usually take it off and re-wrap with the driest part of the towel partway through. If I need to speed it up a little more, I use an actual hair dryer but mostly not.

Works like a charm!

This is a great idea! I've been using one and another big PLUS about it is the fact that it doesn't leave little fuzzies behind that some towels do. There's also turban towels like this that are shaped and have a big button in the back for you to hook a loop around. I know that doesn't make much sense, but if you see them, you'll know what I'm talking about. Lots of beauty supply stores like sally's or other places have them on the same aisle as their hair clips and stuff.

After reading this thread, I went on Ebay and purchased one today (Its the turbie-twist style one, made for wrapping up hair) :) I was able to get one for $3.59 including shipping from a seller called supertight206... great deal! I can't wait to try it out!

I got my head wrap and I'm excited to try it! Only problem is its WAAAYYYYY too small to fit my dreads (Mine are mid back length)... so I'll just have to use it like a small towel.
