I am no longer very active here in Triberia, I started this Tribe in '04 when the platform was blowing up. I would like to hand it over to someone who could have some fun with it, I'm not really a mod type...
Don't be mistaken though, my dreads hang proudly on the well although I cut them last year...

Tue, December 23, 2008 - 3:38 PMI don't want to be a mod, but I was walking around Times Square in NY the other day and there were a bunch of guys trying to sell me stuff. After they tried their "Hey, do you..blah blah blah" they yelled out "Hey, nice dreads" or "Girl, you got nice hair". I've never had strangers be so vocal about my hair before and to think it was just a sales ploy...

I dunno, guys seem to have this compulsion to pull dreads, and at the time, I had some of my old dreads sewn-in to my new ones, a few of them hadn't been sewn-in well enough, and the look of SHOCK on his face when mid-pokey, he ends-up with a dread loose in his hand...LMAO he totally thought he had pulled hard enough to actually pull it from my scalp!! heheheheh :P

the most entertaining thing i can think of is all the older 'conservative' ladies that jsut get a kick out of checking out my hair... ever since someone was on 'prime time TV' , and dreads have shown up in the 'mainstream' everyone who would shy away from dreads are into really checking them out... having a couple of 65 year old ladies get excited about playing with hair is funny...
