Hey! I am intrigued by this site's products. They are adamant about not using wax, and keeping it all natural.
has anyone tried their shampoo? I'm running out of my dreadhead hq stuff, and looking to try something new! My dreads are only 7 months old, so i still dont think i am ready to go the dr. bronners route JUST yet.
:)
blessings.

  • never even heard of it. compared the ingredients with dreadheadhq's shampoo and superhippie has so many more oils and stuff. What exactly will blue green algae do to help our dreads?

I don't know - it sounds very interesting and does sound very natural. Personally, I would give it a shot. I'm thinking about purchasing some myself - unless someone else on here advises against it with good reason.
  • I have not tried their shampoo either. But I have to admit that companies that are talking down about other brands make's me skeptical. I have seen one commercial for them and most of it was just about how careless and selfish knottyboy and dreadhead hq is, and how they brainwash people to use wax.
I do agree that wax is a bad idea for dreads, but then again, I see there IS alot of people that prefer wax! So I guess that is more of a personal question than a fact.
At the moment I use knottyboy's shampoo bar, and feel comfortable with that. When I run out I might try superhippie's shampoo to check out their stuff.
Would love to hear from someone who have tried it, always good with some facts about different products ;)
