That is how I got my last job. I was in another state and didn't want to drive 8 hours if they weren't open to my appearance. After I sent my resume and they expressed interest and wanted to set up an interview, I included with my response a recent photo and explained that if they weren't interested because of my appearance, no hard feelings...They emailed back that not only did they want to continue the interview process, but they were very impressed that I was so open and honest and concerned about not wasting anyone's time. I think a lot of people get the image of a homeless man or hippie that doesn't bathe. I am growing my hair out to hopefully do my second set of dreads as well. So my opinion is very biased. I am feeling the lust. I work at a law office in Lincoln, Nebraska and did also when I had my dreads the first time, so if I can get away with having dreads I think you should too. Good luck!
